What a brew!

The „Schüttinger Gasthausbrauerei“ is famous for its humorous service and, of course, for its incredible golden brew. The old Bremen tradition of craft breweries has been revitalized by the „Schüttinger“ back in 1990. It is thus the oldest craft brewery in the Hanseatic city of Bremen and produces the only, truly crafted beer here.

Just follow the great smell! A faint malty and yeasty aroma will guide you into the rustic charm of the old cellar vault, in which 400 guests can be accommodated. You will get up close and personal with the locals, sitting together, and touching glasses of brew. The „Schüttinger Gasthausbrauerei“ is just not a place where you can mope or be grumpy. The atmosphere is friendly, somewhat loud, and cheerful.

Should you feel a bit peckish after all that cheering and drinking, we do recommend the food here, too. Culinary recommendations from Master Brewer Palle are the huge roasted pork legs, an XXL currywurst or the home-made lobscouse.

You will meet: guests from around the world, party crowds and fans of Werder Bremen (the local football club).
