The spaced out ice cream can be found at „N´Eis”. They say that N´Eis is the best ice cream parlor in Germany—the lines outside might attest to that. (New in their range of ice creams: Lavender)
Crazy good coffee can be had at the „Bukafski“, while you browse the special editions. And yes, you may recognize the name. There is a nod here to the polarising author Charles Bukowski, in combination with a love for coffee. The place is—how shall we put this—cross-stylish. One armchair is from Weimar, another from Karlsruhe—all of the items here were collected by the owner himself all over Germany. It is quite unique, this „Bukafski“.
You need cake? Who doesn’t? You can get it at “Annabatterie”. This is an „Ideal World Café“ in that you will get everything you need for comfort and desserts: Muffins, tartes, cookies, cake… It is just as well that the Gartenfeldplatz is big enough to go for a run around to get rid of the calories after.
As you can see, the Gartenfeldplatz offers more than enough attraction for more than a short visit. Enjoy!
